Alex has 20 years of experience at the intersection of finance and data. He has been a global macro investor at firms like Bridgewater Associates and a proprietary volatility trader at Lehman Brothers. Prior to his career as a data-driven speculator, Alex received an MBA from Stanford Business School, an MPhil in Economics (Game Theory) from the University of Oxford, and a BA (Hons) in Economics from McGill University.

Matthias has over a decade of experience growing startups and building beautiful products. He previously co-founded and served as CTO of Swipecast, a marketplace for freelancers, where he scaled and led the engineering team. Prior to this, he worked as a data visualization engineer at Bridgewater Associates and graduated with an Engineering degree from Harvard University. He is passionate about work at the intersection of data and product design.

Ryan joined Rose in October of 2018 as an analyst. Ryan graduated with a BBA in Finance from the Wisconsin School of Business at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in May of 2018.

Malcolm studied English and Computer Science at the University of Chicago. Now, he manages the product team at Rose, with most of his own coding focused on the frontend.

Feng is a backend engineer with a strong finance background, passionate about data and data driven decision making, which is part of what Rose is built for.

Vilius is a research analyst passionate about markets and grappling with complex, multidimensional data. He is currently pursuing a Masters in Data Science, and has a BA in Economics from the College of Wooster.

JD received his Ph.D in Nuclear Engineering at the University of Missouri, and a BS in Chemical Engineering at UC Berkeley. His research work included working at NASA GRC and MURR. At Rose Technology he works as a data scientist for ETL datasets and design alpha signals.

Cole joined Rose in September of 2020. In addition to Rose, he has worked at Cushman & Wakefield and Black Snow Capital as an investment analyst. Cole graduated with a BA in Economics from The Maxwell School at Syracuse University.

Ryan joined Rose in September of 2020 as a Frontend Developer. He graduated valedictorian from Bay Shore Senior High School in June of 2020, and will be attending Johns Hopkins University to study computer science with the class of 2025.

Jake joined Rose in August of 2020 as a Backend Developer. He studied Computer Science at Southern New Hamphire University.

Travis joined Rose in November of 2020 as a Front-end Web Developer. They received a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The Georgia Institute of Technology, having since taught themselves programming and web development, with a passion for delightful user experiences.
